The ZEN V and the ZEN V Plus are portable media players manufactured by Creative Technology. The user interface on this player, the same as the one on Creative's ZEN Vision:M, was patented by Creative on January 9, 2005.[1] Creative sued Apple over the use of this user interface; Apple later settled for $100 million.[2]The ZEN V Plus has accumulated many awards, including CNET Editor's Choice for June 2006.[3] The players are nearly identical save for video playback and FM radio, which the ZEN V Plus supports but the regular ZEN V does not.
Creative ZEN Vision:M 60 GB Firmware 1.21.02. This download contains an improved version of the firmware found on your ZEN Vision:M™. It improves the stability of your player during startup. For more information, read the rest of this web release note. Creative Media Explorer 6.21.10 Software Pack for ZEN Vision:M (30GB and 60GB).
In August 2007, Creative introduced a 16 GB version of the ZEN V Plus, making it the first flash-based player with that capacity.[4]

Hi,![Media Media](/uploads/1/2/6/4/126493943/564137914.png)
I have read several posts about people that successfully use MM with Zen VM.
However, I cannot do anything with MM and Zen VM. I wonder what I am doing wrong or whats wrong with my player. Just in case, I have recently updated the firmware and updated also WMP to get hew MTP drivers.
Some examples of features that do not work:
1) Play tracks, MM simply skips all of them and they get grayed out.
2) Edit tracks, MM accepts the new values, but when I come back later, the tracks show the original values again.
3) Copy music files to/from Zen VM, MM always complains that the file cannot be found.
The firmware is 1.21.02. WMP is 11.
MM really looks fantastic and I would upgrade to Gold, but first, I would need to have MM and my Zen VM work togheter.
Thanks for any help!
